Let’s get married!

As an ordained Universal Life Minister, I can officiate at your wedding to your special person. How it works:

We meet. The three of us will get together in person for an hour or so, just to talk. You’ll tell me what kind of service you want: formal or informal, traditional or whacky, quick or longer, light or serious. We’ll talk about your faith beliefs, and your feelings about marriage. We’ll talk about possible readings and who you might like to have do them, and any special needs or desires you might have.

We craft a unique service. Based on our conversation, and—if you choose—on material you’ve already written or found on your own, I’ll send you a template of a service. We’ll go back and forth until it’s just right (usually it just takes two or three rounds).

We get married! On your big day, you relax and let me guide you through the most important part of the event—your vows!

Fees:

Wedding in the Red Bank, NJ area………………….   $400.

Additional fee for travel outside 30 mile radius……..     50.

Additional fee for attending rehearsal……………….   100.

Please note: Though I’m happy to coordinate with your wedding organizer on the big day, I am not a wedding planner. I don’t tell folks where to go or what to do, other than during the actual ceremony. You are responsible for the license and any other legal matters and fees. Half the fee is due at the first meeting, half two weeks before the wedding. You’ll be asked to sign a simple contract containing this information.

Available in the Red Bank, New Jersey area or by special arrangement. In the case of a destination event, the wedding couple is responsible for all my travel expenses.
